Fighting period poverty is an important part of our work at Susters4Life. Our Dignity Drive is focused on making reusable cloth sanitary pads available to those who need them in rural and underprivileged communities.
This month, we are excited to be welcoming a new partner on board to support us in this important and empowering work.
We are partnering with Hygiene for Women in an effort to make more pads available for free to poor communities around South Africa. For every pack of 3 cloth pads paid for by Hygiene for Women, the Susters4Life team will match that.
About Hygiene for Women
Looking after your menstrual and reproductive health is so important, as these types of health concerns can have serious physical, emotional and financial consequences. By spreading education and awareness, Hygiene for Women aims to empower women and girls to stay healthy and confident, while caring for their bodies in an informed way.
We are thrilled by this opportunity to collaborate with another caring family-founded, female-owned NGO.
