In this spirit, the Laingsburg Municipality has approached Susters4Life and other local organisations requesting our help \u2013 and we\u2019re opening the appeal to all our supporters to get involved too.<\/p><p>Karoo Kinders Kersfees is a Christmas party that will be held on Saturday 22nd December, for Laingsburg\u2019s local disadvantaged children. The Municipality is seeking sponsorship or donations in any form to make the occasion extra-special for these young ones.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4 class=\"vc_custom_heading\"><strong><em>About Karoo Kinders Kersfees<\/em><\/strong><\/h4><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>The Laingsburg community currently consists of 67% subsidized households. Agriculture is one of the largest job creation providers in the area, and due to the effects of the drought this past year, many of these households will not have sufficient income for the upcoming Christmas season.<\/p><p>Karoo Kinders Kersfees aims to light up the hearts of 1000 local children, by offering them a special Christmastime party \u2013 a day filled with fun activities and games. Santa will also be making an appearance, with a gift box for every child.<\/p><p>Our less privileged children rarely or never get the opportunity to enjoy a holiday at the coast or another exciting destination, as many of us look forward to every year. This event is intended to give them something special to celebrate and remember, making the festive season a little brighter for them. But it can only happen with our support, and yours.<\/p><h4 class=\"vc_custom_heading\"><strong><em>Your Donation will Make a Difference<\/em><\/strong><\/h4><div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>We are appealing to our Susters4Life supporters to get involved and contribute to this year\u2019s Karoo Kinders Kersfees event. You can help out by donating money, providing food or snacks, or contributing gifts \u2013 small toys, sweets, and children\u2019s toiletries are all welcome.<\/p><p>Get in touch\u00a0with us for more information about donating.
